While we may not be able to watch “The Interview” any time soon, we can at least enjoy the DPRK’s attempt at a formal press release. If you haven’t read it, definitely do that. It’s long, rambling and entertaining. You can’t help but enjoy some of the unnaturally phrased English… Clearly some sort of automated translation software is being used, and it comes up with some great stuff. I think my favorite phrase is probably “symmetric counteraction”.. I’m pretty confident this phrase probably started out its life in English as “proportional response”, but I think I actually prefer “symmetric counteraction.” It just sounds more fun.
